Dr. Ravi Pachamuthu, The Chairman of the SRM Group oversees the organization's strategic growth and evolution. He actively participated in the establishment of a number of educational institutions under the SRM Group's banner, including Valliammai Society and SRM Institute of Science and Technology. The internationally famous SRM University is now regarded as one of the best private universities in India, thanks to his capable and visionary leadership.

For deserving and financially challenged students, Dr. Ravi Pachamuthu has established a number of scholarships to support their empowerment and personal development.

He is one of the first people to contribute to the Chief Minister's Relief Fund to aid those impacted by Cyclone "Thane". Under his chairmanship, SRM offered complete scholarships (tuition fees and hostel expenses) to students from the "Thane" cyclone-stricken areas to complete their professional education.
